Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain Zabbix monitoring infrastructure including triggers items templates hosts and escalation workflows.
- Proactively monitor Linux and Windows servers virtual machines and hosting environments using Zabbix.
- Develop maintain and troubleshoot Bash scripts for automation alert parsing and performance reporting.
- Handle Acronis Cyber Protect (Cloud or On-premise) backup solutions: job creation restoration and issue resolution.
- Perform backup status reviews job monitoring restore verification and incident tracking.
- Collaborate with L1 and other technical teams to address and resolve monitoring and backup-related escalations.
- Document standard operating procedures (SOPs) known error databases (KEDBs) and backup policies.
- Support alert tuning false-positive reduction and actionable monitoring improvement initiatives.
Required Skills:
- Zabbix Monitoring: 2 years of hands-on experience managing enterprise Zabbix environments.
- Bash Scripting: 1 year of experience in writing/modifying scripts for system monitoring and automation.
- Linux and Windows Server Management: 2 years in operational server monitoring preferably in hosting environments.
- Experience with Acronis backup products for data protection replication and disaster recovery.
- Knowledge of system health metrics (CPU RAM disk services) log analysis and troubleshooting tools.
- Familiarity with firewall rules agent connectivity and whitelisting processes for cloud-based monitoring/backup tools.
Soft Skills:
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical abilities.
- Clear and concise communication skills especially for escalation reporting.
- Ability to work under minimal supervision and handle pressure situations effectively.
- Willingness to work in rotational shifts and support after-hours incidents (on-call as needed).
