Reporting to the Director of Recruitment the Assistant Director of Admissions is a critical part of executing Saint Josephs off-campus recruitment strategy to meet enrollment management goals. Manages a motivated high-performing team of admission counselors. This position will be responsible for a recruitment territory.Duties and Responsibilities: (Essential Duties)
Primary Responsibilities:
With support from the Director of Recruitment plans and executes multiple recruitment travel campaigns per year for the greatest impact.
Day-to-day supervision of a team of high-performing admission counselors responsible for recruiting training developing and retaining.
Uses CRM (Slate) for data-driven analysis to report on results and recommend improvements.
Cultivates and maintains strong relationships with prospective students and their families within a territory through in-person phone e-mail and written communication methods.
Cultivates and maintains strong relationships with high school counselors within a given territory.
Support role for various on-campus special events
Conducts compelling group presentations designed to demonstrate Saint Josephs undergraduate experience
Manages one-on-one information sessions and interviews
Counsels and advises prospective students and parents about financial aid eligibility application procedures federal grants and scholarships costs payment plans etc
Secondary Responsibilities:
Application reading and processing
Creative assistance for in-office reports and presentations
Zee-Mee liaison (social app for college-bound students to connect)
Campus-partner coordination including academic and student-life departments.
Admission Decision letter and packet mailing coordination
Other duties as assigned

Supervise 3-5 staff
Qualifications: (Education/Training and Experience Required)
Required:
Bachelors Degree
Slate CRM proficiency
At least three years of professional undergraduate admission experience mastering consistent additional responsibilities
Excellent communication skills (grammar vocabulary) to be applied to group presentations telephone communications and written communications
Understand and maintain confidentiality
Thrive in a fast-paced office environment with competing yet equal goals. Time management and decision-making skills are essential
Energetic upbeat and independent
Willingness and ability to travel
Valid drivers license and ability to be insured by the university
Basic understanding or willingness to learn about Jesuit education and its values
Successful background check clearance under Saint Josephs Universitys Minors on Campus Policy (PA Criminal Records Check FBI Fingerprinting Check and PA Child Abuse Clearance Check).
Preferred:
Masters Degree
3-5 years of experience
Physical Requirements and/or Unusual Work Hours:
Some night and weekend hours.
Some extended travel.
Lifting and carrying college materials to presentations up to 25lbs
Stamina to work for prolonged periods of time at recruitment events
