Job Title: Organizational Development Coordinator

Location: District

Reports To: Assistant Superintendent

FLSA Status: 12 months full time exempt

SUMMARY

Provide leadership and coordination in the needs assessment development and evaluation of training as required by the local district and state of Oklahoma. Implement and track district and employee goals and objectives. Supports continuous improvement objectives for all staff. Responsible for submitting award nominations for various organizations and divisions.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Masters degree and a minimum of 5 years of related experience required. Preference may be given for Oklahoma Secondary Administrator Certification and/or experience in administration professional development and/or CareerTech.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Travel across the district is required; must possess a valid Class D Oklahoma drivers license with a minimum of 3 years of driving experience to operate district vehicles and maintain an acceptable driving record.

  • Develop and coordinate district professional development activities to include new instructor mentor and development.
  • Implement professional learning opportunities through multiple delivery models including formal structured workshops and digital platforms.
  • Identify adjuncts speakers facilitators and/or vendors to develop and/or provide training.
  • Provide resources as requested by supervisors to assist in specific employee development opportunities.
  • Track employee professional development credits and provide reports to supervisors/administration.
  • Track and analyze feedback/evaluations received from training participants and supervisors to determine effectiveness of training and make recommendations for improvements/changes.
  • Conduct training needs assessments including data collections and recommend potential solutions to campus directors and/or administration.
  • Communicate learning opportunities to faculty and staff.
  • Ensures regulatory training compliance with state and local requirements to include OSDE report and PD plans for annual board approval.
  • Work with administration and marketing department to nominate staff and faculty for various organization and division award opportunities.
  • Focus on being a leader within the organization and assure a quality educational and training experience and customer service to our customers and stakeholders.
  • Facilitates New Employee Orientation
  • Develop and grow new employee onboarding program to mentor and provide resources to new employees.
  • Coordinate and participate in all professional development committees across the district.
  • Liaison for new teacher mentors.
  • Organize new supervisor mentor program.
