Job Description
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Order Taker to join our team in Cairo Egypt. As an Order Taker you will play a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction by accurately recording and processing customer orders in a timely manner. This position requires excellent communication skills attention to detail and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Answer customer calls and greet walk-in customers promptly and professionally
- Take accurate food and beverage orders ensuring all details and special requests are correctly recorded
- Enter orders into the Point of Sale (POS) system with precision and efficiency
- Provide customers with detailed information about menu items including ingredients preparation methods and pricing
- Upsell additional items or promote daily specials when appropriate
- Communicate order details clearly to kitchen staff and coordinate with the service team for timely order fulfillment
- Handle customer inquiries concerns and complaints with patience and professionalism
- Process payments accurately and provide correct change when necessary
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Stay updated on menu changes promotions and company policies
- Assist with other customer service tasks as needed
Qualifications :
- Excellent verbal communication and active listening skills
- Strong customer service orientation with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Proficiency in using Point of Sale (POS) systems and basic computer skills
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Keen attention to detail and accuracy in order taking and data entry
- Basic math skills for handling orders and payments
- Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure
- Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings weekends and holidays as required
- Knowledge of food and beverage items (preferred)
- Previous experience in a similar customer service or order-taking role (preferred)
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic or other languages is a plus

Physical Aspects of Position (include but are not limited to):
Constant standing and walking throughout shift.
Frequent lifting and carrying up to 30 lbs.
Occasional kneeling pushing pulling lifting.
Occasional ascending or descending ladders stairs and ramps.
Visa Requirements: Must be legally permitted to work in Egypt.
