Project Kuiper is Amazons low Earth orbit satellite broadband network. The starting pay for this role in Washington State is up to $32/hour and employees are eligible for incremental raises based on tenure. Key job responsibilities - Physically move and expedite materials when required to support production and meet work order completion schedule - Verify all materials are packaged/bagged and tagged for hand off to the production floor - Use proprietary software and ERP systems to virtually complete warehouse tasks and movement of parts - Document system issues process flaws and inefficiencies - Communicate with quality control purchasing and other related departments to resolve problems - Operate equipment including: forklifts pallet jacks electric pallet jacks cherry picker and hand carts
A day in the life Join Project Kuipers inventory team and support the delivery of satellite material to our engineers as we create and deploy satellites to help bring internet to under-served populations. A day in the life would include fulfilling warehouse orders by kitting and packing direct material and delivering the kits to the production floor.
- High school diploma or equivalent - 1 year in supply chain operations warehousing inventory control or related experience - 1 year experience using MS excel able to navigate and interpret data - Able to lift up to 49 pounds - Able to stand/walk for up to 10 hours
