A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN INFORMATIN SYSTEMS SUPPORT SPECIALIST TIER 2

As a Tier 2 Information Systems Support Specialist you will be the first point of contact for end-users and is responsible for providing prompt and courteous support. This role provides support in the areas of workstation set-up configuration and management; office automation application software configuration and troubleshooting; and peripheral device support. This role requires a combination of technical expertise problem-solving skills and strong communication abilities to support the banking operations effectively. Additionally the tier 2 technician collaborates closely with our third-party IT vendor to deliver comprehensive support and to help in maintaining a seamless IT environment.

Ideal candidates should be able to manage multiple priorities along with adhering to project timelines.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR AN APPLICATION SUPPORT SPECIALIST

  • Associate Degree or Technical Certification in Information Systems field or comparable work experience
  • 2 to 3 years of related banking or e-Commerce experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
  • Basic understanding of TCP/IP DNS DHCP and VPN
  • Proficient with Windows Desktop Operating Systems
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills including the ability to work with outside support resources.
  • Good communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with end-users and vendors.

WORK SCHEDULE

This is a full-time Monday - Friday position with some flexibility in work location and hours.
