Job Description

Bristol-Plymouth Regional Technical School is seeking the following for the 2025 Summer Academic Academy:Program Goal: To provide a skills focused instructional bridge program for incoming freshmen (class of 2029) and a booster program for select upperclassmen (classes ofand 2028).Positions Available: two (2) Certified teachers per week in ELA Mathematics Science and Special Education; one (1) Paraprofessional for 1:1 supportDates & Time: Mathematics AcademyMonday July 14 - Friday July:30-11:30 a.m.15 teaching hours2.5 preparation hours*Language Arts AcademyMonday July 21 - Friday July:30-11:30 a.m.15 teaching hours2.5 preparation hours*Science AcademyMonday July 28 - Friday August 1 20258:30-11:30 a.m.15 teaching hours2.5 preparation hours*Rate of Pay:$45.00 per hour for certified teacher $27.00 per hour for paraprofessionalResponsibilities: Each teacher will be required to fulfill 2.5 hours* of lesson planning during their designated week in addition to the program hours. Teachers will provide students with the skills necessary for academic success in the areas of English Language Arts and Mathematics. One teacher each week will be designated to provide lessons on daily organizational for the teaching positions must hold a MA teaching certification. These positions are NOT eligible for MTRS or State Retirement Contributions.
