Job Description

Title:Housekeeping Team Member

Report to: Production Team Leaders

Position Summary

The primary role of a Housekeeping Team Member is to perform the day-to-day activities of the Housekeeping Department assuring that our facility is maintained in a clean safe and comfortable manner.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintain all cleaning equipment supplies and products ensuring they are stored safely and in a sanitary manner.
  • Perform general sweeping scrubbing and mopping of hardwood laminate or tiled floors as needed.
  • Vacuum carpets and apply treatments such as shampooing or stain removal as necessary.
  • Empty and dispose of trash from bins and containers in accordance with sanitation guidelines.
  • Dust and polish furniture fixtures and room accessories as needed.
  • Thoroughly clean and sanitize sinks toilets and restroom areas multiple times throughout the day.
  • Clean windows glass surfaces mirrors and counters to maintain a spotless appearance.
  • Maintain cleanliness in all shared spaces.

Required Knowledge Skills and Abilities

  • Must be physically capable of pushing a vacuum cleaner or broom for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 2530 pounds.
  • Able to reach stretch bend walk and stand for long periods throughout the workday.
  • Prior cleaning experience preferred; however training will be provided.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to follow a daily schedule and routine.
  • Ability to understand and follow verbal instructions accurately.
  • High attention to detail and a commitment to quality work.
  • Good hand agility is essential for detailed tasks.
  • Demonstrates basic analytical thinking and problem-solving skills for troubleshooting minor issues.
  • Familiarity with company safety procedures and adherence to all safety guidelines.

Education & Experience

  • High School Diploma or GED

Mental and Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
  • Able to communicate politely and professionally with team members
  • Capable of working for long hours consistently
  • Ability to follow instructions
  • Able to sit or stand for extended periods
