PAY: $82000 based on experience and skills

JOB SUMMARY
Are you hungry for innovation and motivated to overcome challenges CrossCountry Freight Solutions is looking for a Developer based in the Fargo ND Bismarck ND Salt Lake City UT or Phoenix AZ areas. This position plays a crucial role in the creation design and implementation of both new and modified software products along with the management of ongoing business projects. The role requires periodic onsite work at our Service Center with specific scheduling to be determined based on project needs. Operating within the Development team of the organization the Developer will actively collaborate with Business Analysts to gather and clarify project requirements and with Development Managers to ensure that software solutions are executed effectively and meet the specified objectives.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES
- Researching designing implementing and managing software programs
- Testing and evaluating new programs
- Identifying areas for modification in existing programs and subsequently developing these modifications
- Writing and implementing efficient code
- Determining operational practicality
- Developing quality assurance procedures
- Deploying software tools processes and metrics
- Maintaining and upgrading existing systems
- Training users
- Working closely with other developers and business and systems analysts
JOB SPECIFICATIONS
Skills and Knowledge
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Computer Software Engineering Software Programming and Development or other industry-related field required.
- Well-developed interpersonal skills. Ability to get along with diverse personalities.
- Must possess excellent interpersonal organizational communication (written and verbal) analytical and decision-making skills.
- Knowledge and interest in computer systems and the latest technologies
- The ability to learn new technologies quickly especially new AI tools and capabilities.
- An analytical creative and critically thinking mind
- The ability to communicate complex procedures to other colleagues
- Commercial and business awareness
- Goodcommunication skills both written and verbal
- Attention to detail and desire to probe further into data
- Extensive knowledge of the principles procedures and best practices in the industry.
