Company:
Aerospace Composite Center LLCBoeing Defense Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Mid-Level Equipment & Tool Engineer to support the Aerospace Composite Center (ACC) team in Hazelwood MO.
Position Responsibilities:
Evaluates program and project requirements develops complex equipment and tooling concepts and designs solutions for the Production System
Compiles and analyzes technical data to determine the effects on product engineering design and rate estimates identifies robotics automation or technology recommendations and system integration for equipment and tooling
Ensures compliance with safety producibility maintainability reliability ergonomic factors and regulatory requirements
Validates contractual performance milestones maintains configuration control conducts reviews prepares plans for productions readiness preventative maintenance and spares
Conducts training for Production and Maintenance personnel
Develops and implements work-arounds and maintains configuration of hardware software and documentation
Performs studies and make recommendation for disposition of assets
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelor Master or Doctorate of Science from an accredited course of study in engineering computer science mathematics physics chemistry or technical related field
3 years experience with equipment and tool engineering
Experience working in a cross functional environment and/or business unit teams
General Drawing Interpretation & GD&T knowledge
Experience using Microsoft Office products like Outlook Powerpoint Excel and Word
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Experience in CAD/CAM software
Experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment
Work Location:
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
