We are looking for aFire Sprinkler Service Fitter & Install Technicianto join our team!
As aFire Sprinkler Service Fitter & Install Technician youre responsible for the installation inspection service and/or repair of wet-pipe dry-pipe and pre-action fire sprinkler systems. Ensure high levels of accuracy of these responsibilities and working in accordance with applicable national and local Codes and Standards.
In this role you will:
-Perform installation service and/or repair of wet-pipe dry-pipe and pre-action fire sprinkler systems
-Perform periodic inspections per National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) 25 standards - internal piping inspections obstruction investigations flow tests and hydro tests
-Provide accurate documentation through the use of Service Trade and state/local documentation as required
-Record and document all inspections repairs discrepancies and recommendations
-Maintain a good positive relationship with the customer and pass on information to the appropriate personnel for follow-up quotes questions or concerns
Requirements:
-2 or more years experience as a Journeyman Sprinkler Fitter.
-Washington Fitter Card
-High School diploma or equivalent
-Working knowledge of NFPA 13 13R 13D 14 20 & 25
-Working knowledge of current codes and standards of fire sprinkler systems
-NICET II Water Based Systems certification (highly preferred)
-Must be able to work an on call schedule once every 6 weeks
-Valid drivers license with an acceptable driving record
Working Conditions:
-Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds unassisted
-Frequently lift and carry toolboxes tools equipment parts cabling and/or wiring
-Must be able to push or pull up to 50 pounds
-Frequent ladder climbing often while carrying up to 50 pounds

$44 - $60 an hour
