EDUCATION: Bachelors Degree in Health Care Administration Business Finance or related field required. Masters preferred
EXPERIENCE: Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in revenue cycle management preferably in behavioral health or residential treatment settings. Proven experience with payer contract negotiation and third-party reimbursement processes.. Strong understanding of insurance verification benefits coordination and utilization review processes. Proficiency in analyzing financial data funder rates and revenue trends to inform strategic decisions. Experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR) and billing systems and technology savvy. Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive process improvements. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across clinical administrative and corporate teams. Strong organizational and project management skills with attention to detail. Familiarity with Medicaid and commercial insurance requirements. Understanding behavioral health regulations including HIPAA and payer-specific guidelines. Proficient computer skills mastery of Microsoft Office Applicationsexperience with data collection/analyzing platforms (MyAvatar and/or other internal and external software applications pertinent to the position). Requires ability to work independently prioritize manage multiple tasks simultaneously and adhere established guidelines
Valid drivers license must be maintained.
