Front Desk Agent

Job Summary:
The job of a Front Desk Agent at Hacienda Del Sol Resort is to provide excellent customer service while greeting guests performing check-ins and check-outs and responding to guest inquiries. The Front Desk Agent should be knowledgeable about the resorts services activities and amenities in order to successfully provide guests with answers to questions and resolutions to problems.

Compensation & Benefits:
This is a full-time hourly position. An attractive compensation package that includes a percentage of service charges.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet guests upon arrival and provide instructions for check-in
  • Ensure proper completion of registration paperwork
  • Perform check-ins and check-outs for guests
  • Handle customer inquiries regarding hotel services activities and amenities in a timely and efficient manner
  • Accept and process payments for guest stays
  • Respond to and resolve complaints and inquiries received from guests
  • Monitor guest requests for housekeeping and maintenance services
  • Maintain a clean and organized front desk area
  • Monitor front desk supplies and alert staff for restocking
  • Ensure proper security procedures are in place by adhering to safety rules
  • Maintain commonplace areas like the lobby and ensure safety and cleanliness

Requirements:

  • Previous experience and knowledge working with hotel systems preferred
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Possess strong problem-solving and multitasking skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
  • Basic knowledge of computers and computer systems
  • Understand that business demands sometimes make it necessary to move employees from their accustomed shift to other shifts.
