45000 to 55000 depending on experience
An excellent opportunity for a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join a global equipment manufacturer. Reporting to the design manager and working as part of a team you will help provide support to the wider design team

The role
- Develop new designs from initial concept to implementation and improve existing designs.
- Produce Bill of Materials and update documentation.
- Conduct 3D models and detailed drawings
- Design modification to ensuring continuous improvement of existing products.
- Design of a range of heavy manufacturing equipment
- Customer interaction supply chain & production support
The Person
- 5 years design experience gained within heavy manufacturing
- Experience using SolidWorks
- Strong knowledge of safety quality and continuous improvement
