Pay Scale: Teacher Priority Campus Stipend up to $10000
Primary Purpose:
Serve as a lead teacher at a district-designated priority campus with a focus on ensuring student growth and academic excellence.
Provide students with rigorous learning activities and experiences designed to help them fulfill their potential for intellectual emotional physical and social growth.
Enable students to develop competencies and skills to function successfully in society.
Qualification Guidelines:
Education/Certifications:
Bachelors degree from accredited university
Valid Texas Teaching certificate with required endorsements for subject and level assigned
ESL Certification (preferred or willing to obtain)
Experience:
Prior experience teaching in a Reading Language Arts or Math STAAR grade level with evidence of student growth scores of 65% or higher and a T-TESS score of 3 or higher.
Lead Teacher Designation
Candidates meeting the criteria outlined below and selected for this position will qualify for a stipend of $7500 divided into monthly installments (prorated for late hires/early leaves) with the potential of earning an additional $2500 based on student growth of 65% or higher as measured by the 2026 STAAR assessment.
* 65% student growth score on STAAR from the previous school year
* Overall T-TESS score of 3.0 or higher
* Strong attendance
* Demonstrated ability to serve as a lead teacher
Special Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Thorough knowledge of curriculum instruction and assessment
Capitalizes students interests to engage students to become independent thinkers and problem solvers
Strong organizational communication coaching and interpersonal skills
Uses information about each students individual needs to design instruction and ensure student growth
Demonstrated ability to serve as a lead teacher
