Job Description
The Integrated Airborne Solutions Division of the Airborne Systems Business Area of Leidos currently has an opening for a Logistics Intern. Leidos is the primary stakeholder of logistics functions on several Aerial Intelligence platforms located in various CONUS and OCONUS operational areas. This is an exciting opportunity to use your experience helping the U.S. Armed forces supported by Leidos.
Primary Responsibilities
The Logistics Intern will support the local logistics team property team procurement team and logistics liaison officers with a variety of logistics tasks while learning about the various contractual requirements and associated tasks of government contractors responsible for product life cycle management.
Support Tasks may include but are not limited to:
- Support shipping activities by inventorying outbound shipments and preparing database transactions.
- Support receiving activities by inventorying inbound shipments and comparing packing lists and database transactions closing out purchase orders and initiating distribution.
- Support property team in reconciling database information for all Leidos owned and Government Furnished Property (GFP) at Leidos facilities and customer sites.
- Support liaison officers with tracking purchase orders to receipt and material distribution to include RMAs.
- Support inventories marking requirements labeling tagging placarding and signage.
- Other logistics duties are assigned in response to contractual mission or manager requirements.
Basic Qualifications
- Must be enrolled as an undergraduate student at an accredited university or college.
- Must be capable of lifting up to 30 lb regularly.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications such as Excel PowerPoint and Outlook.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be a US Citizen.

Pay Range:
Pay Range $46800.00 - $84600.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline onlyand not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job education experience knowledge skills and abilities as well as internal equity alignment with market data applicable bargaining agreement (if any) or other law.
