We Require
Two years of experience performing office administrative and clerical duties
High school diploma or GED
A combination of post-secondary education and/orjob-related experience may substitute for theminimum qualifications on a year-for-year basis
We Also Value
Experience working in other county or municipal permit-issuing environments
Job Contributions
Review incoming applications for completeness and apply MCDOT permitting regulations and procedures
Advise applicants on permit approvals and the progress of applications while providing quality customer service
Coordinate reviews with all internal department disciplines
Process customer permit fees and extension requests
Establish and maintain customer data and enter information into databases
Research collect and analyze data as assigned
Perform other job-related duties as assigned
Working Conditions
Exerting up to 20 pounds occasionally 10 pounds frequently or negligible amounts constantly or requires walking or standing to a significant degree
Position is typically office or administrative work and is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions
