We Are Looking For

The Supervisor Accounts Payable will be responsible for leading and managing a team of accounts payable and administrators providing support to multiple locations including interacting with procurement suppliers sales customers IT and accounting personnel to work through various issues and ensuring the business is compliance. This position and related activities will require regular interfacing with all levels of corporate and performance center personnel.


What Youll Do (Responsibilities)

  • Manage and organize quality-related documents including inspection reports certifications and compliance records
  • Provide leadership and direction to the Accounts Payable team fostering a culture of collaboration accountability and continuous improvement
  • Manage mentor and develop Accounts Payable staff ensuring high performance and professional growth opportunities
  • Establish and communicate clear goals and objectives for the Accounts Payable department aligning with organizational objectives
  • Oversee the end-to-end Accounts Payable process including invoice processing vendor payments expense reimbursements and month-end close activities
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments while maintaining compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Implement and maintain best practices in Accounts Payable operations to optimize efficiency and effectiveness
  • Lead the integration of new Accounts Payable systems or enhancements working closely with IT and cross-functional teams to ensure seamless implementation
  • Drive change management initiatives related to Accounts Payable processes systems and technology upgrades effectively managing stakeholder expectations and mitigating risks
  • Provide training and support to end-users on new systems processes and tools promoting user adoption and maximizing operational efficiency
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors ensuring prompt resolution of inquiries discrepancies and issues
  • Negotiate vendor contracts terms and discounts to optimize vendor relationships and achieve cost savings opportunities
  • Monitor vendor performance and compliance implementing vendor scorecards and improvement plans as necessary
  • Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure Accounts Payable performance and identify areas for improvement
  • Prepare regular reports and analysis on Accounts Payable metrics trends and insights for management review and decision-making
  • Utilize data-driven insights to drive process improvements cost reductions and operational excellence within the Accounts Payable function


What You Bring (Qualifications & Skills):

  • High school diploma or equivalent (associates degree in a related field is a plus)
  • Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field; CPA or CMA certification preferred
  • Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in Accounts Payable management preferably in a high-volume environment
  • Proven experience leading system integrations change management initiatives and process improvements
  • Strong understanding of Accounts Payable best practices internal controls and compliance requirements
  • Excellent leadership communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization
  • Advanced proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills


Special Requirements:

  • U.S. Citizen U.S. Permanent Resident (Green Card holder) orasylee/refugee status as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3) required.
  • ITAR requirement
  • 120.15. Some positions will require current U.S. Citizenship due to contract requirements.
