The Boeing CompanyBoeings Project Assets Construction Engineering (PACE) Center of Expertise (COE) organization is seeking a Senior Operational Excellence Specialist to join their Project Management Operational Excellence team in North Charleston SC; Ridley Park PA; Auburn WA; Everett WA; Renton WA; Seattle WA; Berkeley MO; Hazelwood MO or Mesa AZ.
You will have the chance to engage meaningfully with sites across the Boeing portfolio to help improve our processes tools and procedures. In addition the position will support metrics development communication training and improvement initiatives across the PACE organization. Travel is required for this position based on needs across the Enterprise 25-50%.
Position Responsibilities:
Oversee or lead aspects of COE improvement and enterprise initiatives
Monitor and communicate project status current baselines changes risks/ issues/ opportunities and help needed on initiatives
Oversee ongoing COE tasks and may serve as a liaison between internal COE stakeholders additional COEs subcontractors and external suppliers
Performance Analysis (Leading indicators)
Collaborate with engineering leadership to develop metrics and KPIs
Lead Enterprise initiatives creation of standards mentoring training and non-advocate reviews
Support Quarterly Site Performance Execution Reviews
Resolve issues to support of business operations by investigating developing and preparing alternative solutions impact statements and recommendations
Lead studies and research efforts using varied media (such as financial data performance reports bench-marking studies new technology etc.) for determining feasibility viability and / or capability in support of a program project or customer request
Prepare and present reports with options and recommendations that may have regional impact
Define methodology for data collection from various systems to perform analysis
Analyze trend data to identify opportunities for improvement
Domestic travel 25-50%
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
5 years of experience working with and partnering with cross-functional teams on projects and initiatives
5 years of experience in Facilities Project Management and/or Construction Management
3 years of budgeting and forecasting experience
3 years of experience working with and developing a Long Range Business Plan (LRBP)
Experience teaching others and leading training activities
Experience in a leadership role
Able to travel up to 50% of the time
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Bachelors degree or higher in related field
10 years of experience collecting data from multiple sources performing analysis and presenting data
5 years of experience in program management
5 years of experience in developing and presenting recommendations to executive level management
