POSITION SPECIFICS
The Custodial Shift Supervisor is responsible for activities that affect the cleanliness of facilities thus impacting all students faculty staff and decisions made by the Custodial Shift Supervisor influence the performance attitude and morale of many employees which can have a significant effect on efficiency productivity service delivery and service financial impact of decisions can be wide-ranging and effect has direct and indirect correlations to internal operating budgets as well as external University budgets (e.g. research funding).
This position is responsible for overseeing all aspects of day-to-day custodial operations including hiring training scheduling performance management discipline etc. for employees on the 1st shift in university facilities across University Park.
This position will typically work from 4:30 p.m. to 1:00 a.m. Monday through Friday.
MINIMUM EDUCATION WORK EXPERIENCE & REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS
Associate Degree 6 years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience accepted Required Certifications: NoneBACKGROUND CHECKS/CLEARANCES
Employment with the University will require successful completion of background check(s) in accordance with University policies. This position requires that you operate a motor vehicle as a part of your job duties. A valid drivers license and successful completion of a motor vehicle records check will be required in addition to standard background checks.Penn State does not sponsor or take over sponsorship of a staff employment Visa. SALARY & BENEFITS
The salary range for this position including all possible grades is $51000.00 - $74000.00.Salary Structure - Information on Penn States salary structure
