Job Description
We are seeking a LPN / LVN for a 13-weeks travel/contract assignment in Utica NY 13502. Both local and traveler candidates are welcome to apply.
- Shift: 8-hour Eve 2:30 PM - 10:30 PM
- Guaranteed Hours: 37.5 hours per week
- Weekly Pay Rate: $1275 - $1425; Depending on experience (negotiable)
- Provide basic bedside care including taking vital signs and monitoring patient health.
- Administer medications and injections as prescribed by healthcare providers.
- Assist with patient hygiene dressing changes and wound care.
- Collect specimens for lab tests and report results to the RN or physician.
- Maintain and update patient records accurately in compliance with facility policies.
- Assist physicians and RNs during examinations and medical procedures.
- Educate patients and families about health conditions medications and self-care techniques.
- 1 years of LPN/LVN experience.
Education:
- Completion of an accredited LPN/LVN program.
Certification/License Requirements:
- License: Active LPN/LVN license in the State of New York.
- Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required).
Additional Info:
- Will accept local candidates.
- Local Rate applies for candidates residing within 75 miles.
