Job Goals: provide educational and operational leadership in the areas of curriculum instruction assessment program evaluation professional development and data-informed decision making. lead the districts grant development and implementation for federal state and competitive grants in support of district and school initiatives. ensure compliance with all applicable local state and federal regulations related to accountability civil rights Title IX and district operations. support and assist in the oversight of all departments including Human Resources Food Services Transportation Technology Custodial Services Student Services and school-based DESE License Experience and Training: of Masters degree in education administration or related as or eligibility for Massachusetts Superintendent/Assistant Superintendent certification of three years successful administrative leadership in public education with supervisory in-depth understanding of the state and federal laws and regulations associated with education. Other interpersonal verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse ethical standards and integrity in all professional capacity for strategic planning organizational leadership and innovative to equitable education and continuous improvement for all students and ability to lead change while fostering a collaborative and inclusive culture.
