This opportunity is within our Southwest Childrens Clinic which is a fast paced environment. The Sanford Childrens Clinic is a great place to work because you get to work closely with children and watch them grow at their wellness visits throughout the years. Our nurses work as a team with each other and the Pediatricians to provide excellent patient care.

Our Licensed Practical Nurses and Medical Assistants focus on supporting our patients with:
- well child care
- medication rechecks
- behavioral health management
- same day/ill appointments
- medication and vaccine administration

Schedule:
- Monday through Friday 8 hour days
- First patient at 7:50 - last patient 4:30
- No major holidays

Licensed Practical Nurse or National Medical Assistant Certification required for the role.

Summary

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will participate in the implementation and evaluation of patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse advanced practice provider or physician.

The Medical Assistant (MA) functions within the administration pre-defined scope of practice guidelines per state location of practice.

Our Medical Assistants have the ability to make a meaningful impact in the lives of our patients and their families. Qualifications

Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse.

If position requires IV therapy/management skills the following is required in North Dakota: graduation from a Board approved AASPN program where IV therapy is part of the curriculum or completion of an IV Therapy course approved by the North Dakota Board of Nursing.

Currently holds an unencumbered Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license with State Nursing board and/or possess multi-state licensure privileges. Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications.
