About us:
We are a modern purpose-built small animal practice centrally located in the affluent south-eastern suburbs of Adelaide close to the CBD. We have an excellent clientele and pride ourselves on providing a personalised caring service in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. We strive to offer a big clinic service but with a small clinic feel.
Our staff currently comprises of 4 experienced vets and 7 nurses. As a team we seek to help support and encourage each other while also being able to have a laugh where we can.
Your duties would be a mixture of consultation surgery dentistry diagnostic procedures and imaging as well as the ongoing care of in-patient cases. Aside from dogs and cats we also see a small percentage of exotics and injured local wildlife.
To aid in your duties we have digital radiography (including dental x-rays) ultrasound and IDEXX in house blood testing facilities. We have the capacity to perform a range of orthopaedic (including TPLO cruciate repair) and soft tissue surgical procedures.
We strongly encourage and support CPD to assist you in reaching your full potential and provide support for new and recent graduates.
The role:
Consult Hours are 9am6:30pm weekdays and 8:30am1 pm on Saturdays. We refer all after hours to dedicated emergency services thus no after hours on call work is required.
The position would ideally be for 2 days a week with the potential for growth with the right candidate but that is negotiable. It would include a share of Saturday morning shifts on a rotational basis.
We believe in having a good work life balance and there is some degree of flexibility in hours and shifts to suit the right applicant.
