Since 1963 pet owners in Dodgeville have come to rely on our Dodgeville Veterinary Services skilled veterinarians and knowledgeable staff to help their cherished companions live long happy and healthy lives. We are a progressive small animal practice known for executing elevated levels of medicine. Additionally we are Fear Free certified and AAHA accredited.
Position Purpose
At Dodgeville Veterinary Service in Dodgeville Wisconsin we are a progressive small animal practice known for executing elevated levels of medicine. Additionally we are Fear Free certified and AAHA accredited! We are a 4-doctor practice with about twenty additional support staff of multiple certified veterinary technicians. Because of this our doctors are never without an extra set of hands. We are a team of kind encouraging and highly skilled professionals ready to welcome another associate veterinarian to our one-of-a-kind group.

Essential Responsibilities
- Examine and treat companion animals to detect and determine the nature of disease or injuries.
- Operate diagnostic equipment and collect diagnostic samples as well as interpret results.
- Advise pet owners on preventative care and treatment options.
- Perform surgery and prescribe medication as needed.
- Provide counsel around pet end of life care.
- Maintain patients medical records.
- Ensures compliance with veterinary ethics and relevant statues policies and procedures.
