Position: Classroom Teacher (Year 1)
Start date: 28 July 2025
Employment Status: Full-Time contract
Salary: $84077 -$123101 (pending experience)

What we are looking for:
Applications are invited for the position of Classroom Teacher (Year 1) to join the staff of St Brendans Catholic Primary School Mackay. This is a full-time contract position to commence from 28 July 2025 until 5 April 2026.
Applications are welcome from anyone who would support the schools ethos and possess the followingare encouraged to apply:
- Relevant tertiary qualification (or eligible to graduate)
- Evidence of successfully passing the Literacy and Numeracy Test for Initial Teacher Education Students
- Appropriate qualities knowledge and skills to provide a relevant and holistic education
- Eligible to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment
- A desire to serve the communities located within the diocese of Rockhampton

Mandatory Requirements
- Relevant tertiary qualifications and the ability to obtain approved Queensland College of Teachers Registration
