The Opportunity:
WSU Tri-Cities is seeking an Accreditation Coordinator to help manage the CSWE (Council on Social Work Education) accreditation for their new Social Work Program. We are searching for applicants with a strong background in the accreditation process to help guide our efforts throughout this complex effort. This is an exciting new opportunity to help us build a stronger presence of social workers in the Tri-Cities Area.
Summary of Duties
TheBSWAccreditation Coordinator plays a pivotal day-to-day role in managing the development accreditation and ongoing success of the Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) program. This position requires a dynamic individual with a passion for social work education student success and program growth. The coordinator will assist in accreditation efforts support student retention and academic development contribute to curriculum design and provide comprehensive programmatic support.
This position is responsible for identifying planning organizing and leading the accreditation process for theBSWprogram accreditation throughCSWE. This position will evaluate progress toward milestones assign and delegate work to social work staff to meet accreditation standards and milestones. This position will also design and maintain processes and procedures for social work accreditation.
This position is responsible for managing the day-to-dayCSWEaccreditation process by managing documentation records timelines and ensuring compliance withCSWEbenchmarks and standards. This position will also design the advising model for both pre-social work and social work students and advise pre-BSWandBSWstudents. This position is also responsible for developing retention strategies and offering guidance on graduate studies and career pathways.
This Acrreditation Coordinator also contributes to curriculum development and supports program evaluation and improvement initiatives. Responsibilities also include overseeing theBSWprograms web presence ensuring accurate and effective web content and collaborating with marketing and IT teams.

This is a full time (100% FTE) permanent position. This position is overtime eligible.
This position is based on the WSU Tri Cities campus in Richland WA.
Monthly Salary: $4386.85 - $6031.91 Commensurate with experience and qualifications
In accordance with RCW 49.58.110 the above salary reflects the full salary range for this position. Individual placement within the range is based on the candidates current experience education skills and abilities related to the position.

Required Qualifications
A Bachelors degree in a field relevant to area of specialization and three (3) years of experience directly related to the specialty area. Any combination of relevant education and experience may be substituted for the educational requirement on a year-for-year basis.
Masters degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program.
Strong organizational writing and editing skills.
Experience in academic advising student success initiatives or related role.
Demonstrated commitment to social work values ethics and education.
Demonstrated excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated ability to exercise professional judgment and leadership including the ability to problem solve and work independently.
Preferred Qualifications
Demonstrated experience in undergraduate program development and management.
Experience withCSWEaccreditation processes and standards.
Experience with website content design and maintenance.
Experience with grant writing.
Demonstrated experience with modern office technologies such as the Microsoft Office Suite.
