Job Description

York Adult Education is seeking a dedicated and passionate ESL (English as a Second Language) Instructor to join our team. This position is part-time scheduled for Monday and Wednesday evenings from 6:00 pm to 8:30 pm over two 15-week academic :Plan and deliver effective ESL lessons that cater to a diverse group of adult engaging and interactive learning experiences to promote language acquisition and student progress regularly and adjust teaching methods accurate records of student attendance assessments and academic with colleagues and administration to support program goals and timely feedback to students and support their individual learning technology effectively for instructional delivery including the ability to facilitate blended in-person/live online :Bachelors degree in Education ESL Linguistics or a related field (Masters degree preferred).ESL teaching certification (e.g. TESOL TEFL CELTA) highly experience in teaching ESL to adult learners preferably in a multicultural understanding of language acquisition principles and teaching communication and interpersonal to adapt teaching strategies to accommodate diverse learning styles and in technology use for educational purposes including online learning platforms.$27.50 per hour for teaching time and preparation totaling 7 hours per candidates should submit a resume cover letter and contact information for professional references to Lisa Robertson ().
