Job Description

Salisbury Elementary School is seeking a full-time Special Education Teacher to serve as case manager for students in support of their IEP goals within an inclusive setting. Experience with and/or a willingness to participate in training of a co-teaching/collaborative teaching model key duties will involve:

Crafting and delivering tailored instruction and resources to cater to the diverse learning needs of our students which may include those with intricate learning profiles.

Conducting assessments for special education drafting comprehensive evaluation reports and meticulously devising and executing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) within designated timeframes.

Providing guidance to instructional assistants in implementing educational strategies for assigned students.

Fostering effective communication channels among instructional team members parents faculty and administration to ensure cohesive support for our students.

Consistently monitoring and documenting students progress toward meeting their IEP objectives.
