Job Description

Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program

License: Active unrestricted RN license in any U.S. state

Certification:

CCTN (Certified Clinical Transplant Nurse) Required

BLS Required

Experience: Minimum 1 year of recent experience as a Transplant Nurse
-
Provide comprehensive care to transplant patients across pre-operative operative and post-operative phases
-
Monitor and manage immunosuppressive therapy and potential complications
-
Collaborate with transplant surgeons coordinators and multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
-
Educate patients and families on transplant procedures medication regimens and lifestyle modifications
-
Maintain detailed patient records and comply with transplant program protocols and regulatory standards
-
Respond to clinical emergencies and perform critical interventions when needed
-
Adhere to infection control practices and hospital policies to ensure patient safety
