Job Description
- Start Date: ASAP
- Eye Exam: Required
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of recent (within past 6 12 months) mechanical and soldering experience including extensive microscope work
- Industry Experience: Space & Defense manufacturing environment required
- Education: High School Diploma or GED preferred (education requirement policy changing as of Sept 1 2024)
- Training: Must complete 40-hour solder & ESD certification (provided during orientation)
- Skills Required:
- Soldering and electronics assembly (including fine pitch components and detailed chassis wiring)
- Familiarity with computers
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to follow engineering work instructions
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Continuous improvement mindset (6-Sigma/Greenbelt a plus)
- Self-directed and good teaming skills
