Job Description
Desired Start Date: 6/1
Duration: 7 Months Hrs/Wk:40.00
Work Location: Raritan NJ (Hybrid Local Preferred)
Description:
Work location : Remote work accepted however local candidates preferred as on-site visits to Raritan NJ would be required as needed for changes or meetings.
Availability to work night or on Saturdays as required.
Night works starting at 10pm till in the morning (depending on necessary time span for executing changes).
Weekend works can be required at night as well.
Typical per month you can expect 4-5 night or week-end night work
Responsibilities:
Work within a process-oriented large enterprise environment ensuring adherence to critical processes.
Interact with a global audience providing support and communication in English.
Collaborate with a team of engineers while also being capable of working independently.
Work on Saturdays typically 2 per month depending on team workload.
Perform on-site visits to Raritan NJ as needed for changes or meetings.
Maintain a high level of attention to detail in all tasks.
Required Soft Skills:
Ability to work in a structured process-driven environment.
Proficiency in English for global communication.
Team collaboration skills and the ability to work independently.
Attention to detail.
Required Networking Skills:
Data Center (DC) networking skills with experience in Cisco and Arista (CCNP or experienced CCNA DC level).
Strong knowledge of routing protocols especially BGP.
Cloud networking experience with AWS Azure and GCP with a focus on AWS (at least associate level preferably with a specialty in networking).
Scripting experience in Python is a plus.
Basic understanding of Windows and Linux operating systems.
Preferred Qualifications:
CCNP certification or equivalent experience.
AWS specialty certification in networking.
Experience with Python scripting.
