Role Type: Hybrid Role
Responsibilities:
Provide system analysis design development and implementation of applications and databases. Integrate third party products. Ensure that expected application performance levels are achieved.
Ensure the viability of IT deliverables. Recommend development options including design build/buy and vendor purchase. Conduct testing including functionality technical limitations and security.
Elevate code into the development test and production environments on schedule. Provide follow up production support. Submit change control requests and documents.
Provide subject matter expertise in software development methodology and development architecture standards. Mentor and train staff with less experience. Resolve elevated issues and recommend enterprise-wide improvements.
Participate in design code and test inspections throughout the life cycle to identify issues. Explain technical considerations at related meetings including those with internal clients. Perform systems analysis activities.
Thoroughly understand client business functions and technology needs. Has a broad and deep understanding of clients technologies tools and applications including those that interface with business areas and systems. Is well versed on the latest technologies and tools supporting software development in the industry.
Interface with cross functional team members and communicate systems issues at the appropriate technical level for each audience.
Thoroughly understand and comply with Information Technology and Information Security policies and procedures and verify that deliverables meet requirements.
Qualifications
Minimum of 4-5 years of development experience.
Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience. Graduate degree preferred.
Hands-on experience in deploying and supporting Kong as a platform in various configurations-including API Gateway Client Authentication Ingress Controller and Mutual TLS Egress-is highly desirable. (Not required but an extra
