Job Description
Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly experienced Lead Front-End Developer with strong expertise in React JS and modern front-end development practices. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in designing and developing intuitive scalable and high-performance digital workplace solutions. While experience with the Akumina platform is preferred it is not mandatory - a willingness to learn and adapt quickly is key.
Key Responsibilities:-
Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to capture understand and translate requirements into front-end solutions.

UI Development: Design and develop reusable widgets templates and custom components to improve user experience; ensure branding alignment through theme customization.

Intranet Optimization: Optimize the company intranet for speed responsiveness and cross-browser compatibility.

Responsive Design: Implement mobile-first responsive UI designs that offer a consistent experience across various devices.

Front-End Troubleshooting: Debug and resolve UI/UX issues; identify performance bottlenecks and suggest improvements.

Continuous Improvement: Stay current with Akumina updates front-end development trends and best practices to enhance project outcomes.

Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation for components solutions and processes.

Deployment Support: Assist in testing staging and deploying solutions in production environments.

Hypercare & Support: Provide technical support during go-live and post-implementation phases.

Bachelors degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or a related field.

8 years of hands-on front-end development experience including leadership or mentorship roles.

Strong proficiency in:

React JS

HTML5 CSS3 JavaScript jQuery

Widget development and theme customization

Responsive and mobile-first design principles

Experience with RESTful API integrations.

Familiarity with Git or similar version control systems.

Knowledge of cross-browser compatibility issues and solutions.

Excellent collaboration and communication skills with the ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
