Job Description
Location: St. Joseph Hospital Eureka
Department: Cardiac Catheterization Lab
Under the general direction of the Department Manager and/or Lead Technologist and in collaboration with the Medical Director of the Cath Lab cardiologists radiologists and other clinical staff the Cardiovascular/Interventional Imaging Technologist performs advanced cardiovascular and interventional imaging procedures. This role requires a high level of technical expertise and patient-centered service to support the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular and interventional conditions.
The technologist will:

Serve as a key liaison between patients families and medical staff

Assist with age-appropriate care for adolescent adult and geriatric patients

Participate in quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives

Ensure safe effective and efficient procedure execution in a fast-paced environment

Graduate of an ARRT-accredited Radiologic Technology program or equivalent education/experience

California Radiologic Technologist (CRT) license required upon hire

American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification required upon hire
-
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association required upon hire

Additional training or education in angiocardiography or interventional procedures

Advanced ARRT certification in Cardiovascular and Interventional Radiography preferred upon hire
