Job Description
Position Title: CT Technologist Traveler
Department: Computerized Tomography
Location: Athena Medtech

Shift: Friday Sunday 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM (12-hour shifts)

Weekly Hours: 36
Athena Medtech is currently seeking an experienced and detail-oriented CT Technologist Traveler to join our radiology team. This position is ideal for a professional with strong skills in both CT imaging and general/portable X-ray procedures. Experience with Fuji X-ray systems is considered a plus.
Minimum Qualifications-
Experience: Minimum of 3 years in CT and general radiologic imaging

Certifications/Licensure: Must hold all relevant certifications required for CT technologists

Additional Skills: Experience with portable X-ray systems; familiarity with Fuji X-ray equipment is preferred

Operate computerized tomography (CT) equipment to obtain accurate diagnostic images

Position patients correctly to ensure optimal scan results and patient safety

Perform daily system checks and warm-up protocols to maintain CT scanner performance

Sterilize radiologic equipment in compliance with safety standards

Review and interpret imaging instructions provided by referring physicians

Administer contrast materials to patients as needed to enhance image quality

Assess CT images for diagnostic quality and take corrective measures if needed

Provide patients with clear explanations of procedures ensuring comfort and reassurance throughout the process
