Job Description
We are currently seeking a corporate process engineering designer Co-op student to join our process engineering team at our Corporate Engineering department location in Brampton ON.
This Co-op position will work together as part of our team to develop skills through a learning process. It is a good chance for students who want to improve skills on P&ID development using Plant 3D software to put process engineering theory into practice and to gain experience in process safety reviews.
Responsibilities:
- Working closely with designers/ engineers on various tasks regarding preparing engineering documents.
- Involved in P&ID development using Plant 3D and/or Autocad process flow diagrams mass and energy balances.
- Involved in general administration tasks such as organizing document and files
- Other duties as may be required with additional information
Qualifications:
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment and independently with minimal supervision
- Demonstrated as a quick leaner and eager to learn new knowledge
- Ability to follow instructions and pay attention to detail when preparing engineering drawings and documents
- Proficient in MS Word Excel and Power Point
