About the Role
Reporting to the Director Clinical (Inclusivity and Indigenous Initiatives) the Manager Inclusion Diversity Equity and Accessibility (IDEA) is responsible for leading the implementation of the organizations IDEA strategy ensuring its integration across all functions. This role oversees IDEA operations drives change management and fosters a culture of belonging through data-informed initiatives partnerships and employee development.
The Manager Inclusion Diversity Equity and Accessibility will:
- Implement and monitor the IDEA strategy adapting to organizational needs and aligning to the organizations mission vision values and strategic roadmap.
- Embed IDEA principles into organizational policies practices and culture.
- Develop and execute innovative strategies to advance IDEA goals aligned with the organizations mission.
- Integrate IDEA principles into key functions including recruitment retention talent development communications expansion procurement and clinical service delivery.
- Trusted thought partner as a subject matter expert to senior leadership influencing policy and practice across departments.
Qualifications- Bachelors degree in a related field (i.e. human resources sociology education business administration law etc.) is required.
- Certified or working towards the Canadian Certified Inclusion Professional (CCIP) designation.
- Deep understanding of diversity equity inclusion and accessibility frameworks including Canadian legislation.
- Proven strategic leadership and ability to translate IDEA concepts into actionable programs with measurable outcomes.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to influence community partners and articulate complex ideas with clarity.
- Strong data analysis skills to assess program effectiveness and identify equity gaps.
- Knowledge of HRIS systems (Dayforce) Microsoft 365 and virtual collaboration tools (Zoom Microsoft Teams).
- High emotional intelligence and cultural competence to navigate sensitive topics.
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to build trust across diverse teams
