Accounts Payable
Were seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in Englewood NJ. This is an on-site full-time position perfect for someone who enjoys building systems improving processes and helping a growing company reduce waste and improve financial discipline. If you are proactive organized and ready to take initiative we want to hear from you.
Essential Functions:
Manage the full accounts payable cycle from invoice receipt to payment
Ensure accuracy of invoice coding approvals and timely payments
Establish internal systems to audit all outgoing payments
Analyze payment data and trends to identify opportunities to reduce costs and avoid waste
Coordinate with vendors and internal departments to resolve discrepancies
Maintain accurate records and support month-end closing activities
Help build scalable efficient payment processes suitable for a fast-growing company
Qualifications:
2 years of accounts payable or bookkeeping experience
Strong understanding of accounting principles and audit processes
High attention to detail and organizational skills
Proficient with accounting software (QuickBooks Sage or similar)
Comfortable working independently and taking initiative
Startup or multi-location healthcare experience is a plus
Must be able to work in person at our Englewood NJ location 5 days per week
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the healthcare or orthodontic industry is a plus.
- Knowledge of accounting principles and standards.
- Experience with electronic payment systems and ACH transfers.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
