Role: Teaching Assistant
Hourly Rate: 13.6815.00
Location: Scarborough
We are working with a vibrant and supportive primary school in Scarborough that is committed to nurturing the potential of every pupil. The school places a strong emphasis on inclusive education wellbeing and creating a welcoming environment for both children and staff.
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dependable Teaching Assistant to provide classroom support across a range of year groups. The role involves working alongside teaching staff to deliver engaging lessons offering one-to-one support and leading small group interventions to help children reach their learning goals.
The ideal candidate will bring a positive attitude excellent communication skills and a genuine passion for helping children succeed. While previous classroom experience is desirable its not essential a can-do approach and willingness to learn are just as valuable.
Key responsibilities include:
Supporting childrens learning in both group and individual settings
Assisting the class teacher with lesson preparation and classroom management
Promoting positive behaviour and encouraging pupil engagement
Delivering targeted interventions under the guidance of teaching staff
Helping to create a caring and stimulating learning environment
