About the Role

Reporting to the National Makesafe Manager this role will be responsible for the co-ordination and delivery of all Building Makesafe projects. You will be a SME for your specific clients which allows you to really own and make this role yours from the start of the emergency to the end of the emergency once the building is safe and secure. This role includes duties such as but not limited to registration of projects triage of calls general project administration includingupdating portals engaging of sub-contractor direct trades and suppliers collating of supportingdocuments managing on going hire items reporting invoicing and debtors.

Responsibilities include:

  • Register each new Makesafe on the project system where B2B doesnt apply
  • Triage call with insured to obtain relevant information on works required on site
  • Maintain a comprehensive working knowledge of the scope required for each job
  • Engage co-ordinate and manage trades and suppliers
  • Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to involved stakeholders
  • Preparation and sending purchase orders
  • Create and update job programs/schedules
  • Ensure completion of all documentation pertaining to the job

Key capabilities include:

  • Excellent time management and prioritisation skills.
  • Willingness to learn and be part of an agile and warm team environment.
  • Strong administrative skills with written and verbal communication being key.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Insurance and or construction experience is desirable.
  • Proven project coordination experience preferably in emergency response insurance trade or building works
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills
  • Interpersonal skills with an ability to deal with both internal and external customers buildinglong term relationships
  • Ability to develop business through quality service delivery

About you:

  • Excellent customer service skills. If you have a background in a customer facing role whether on phone or in person wed love to talk to you.
  • Professional and empathetic phone manner. Speaking with customers at their most vulnerable youll need to exercise patience and understanding paired with a sense of urgency.
  • Ability to increase productivity and bring new ideas to the team no idea is a bad idea!
  • Flexibility at times we get busy and will need additional support. Because we service our clients 24/7 you may need to be available on public holidays
  • Amazing organisational skills! Be able to pivot to meet evolving priorities and challenges.
  • Be a collaborative team player!
  • At least two years experience in a similar role
  • Able and willing to travel to the office
