Were currently seeking a Casual Retail Store Supervisor who can bring energy creativity and heart to our stores. Youll work across any of our eight locations (Glenorchy Warrane Rosny Sorell City Moonah Kingston and Huonville) according to a pre-planned roster.
Reporting to the Retail Coordinator you will:
Open and close the retail store and manage the POS system
Provide a positive focus on excellent customer service and sales outcomes
Provide a keen eye for current trends/style and have the ability to pull all those skills together to create an exciting vibrant and on-trend space for customers to shop
Supervise and train volunteers ensuring they receive proper induction and feel supported and mentored
Bring your creative side to life by working with your team to create engaging displays which highlight quality stock and brand recognition
About you:
Previous retail experience including using a POS and cash handling
Manual handling knowledge and ability to lift at least 10kg
Strong communication skills with the ability to genuinely connect with your customers
Previous supervision or team leader experience
Understanding of second-hand/circular economy/ Op Shop industry practices
Knowledge experience and understanding of volunteer management (desirable)
