Description

Primary Responsibilities

  • Maintain and keep organized of the workshop area including hands on room classroom and the storage area at the DFW facility
  • Responsible for construction of workstations at the DFW facility
  • Responsible for assisting catering dinner reservations transportation etc for DFW workshops when needed
  • Responsible for taking the inventory of unused material for DFW workshops
  • Report and/or replace damaged/missing tools and material
  • Order workshop supplies such as OSB Plywood buckets etc for DFW workshops when needed
  • Responsible for coordinating with hosting Territory Manager 4 weeks prior to obtain information needed to secure the rental truck and transporting workshop material from distributor/storage unit to workshop venue when applicable for remote workshops
  • Responsible for the maintenance of the workstations and tools
  • Ability to coordinate multiple workshops with all individuals involved in advance of each assigned workshop
  • Responsible for scheduling with travel department your flights and transportation at least 4 weeks prior to each assigned workshop
  • Coordinate and execute all workshop set-up tasks. The set-up tasks include but not limited to:
    • Purchase and install plastic to cover the venue floors at each workshop when applicable
    • Purchase additional materials needed to execute the workshop
    • Set up Live Demo and Hands on areas at each workshop
    • Assist presenters with classroom set up at each workshop
  • Work with internal workshop coordinators territory managers and venue personnel to facilitate and manage the workshop tasks include but not limited to:

o Confirm your hotel dates with the workshop coordinator in office

o Mix thin-set during the workshop

o Assist attendees during Hands-on activities

o Respond and fulfill Territory Managers requests during the workshop

o Lead the tear down and clean up at the end of the workshop

o Return the workstations back to distributor/storage unit after the workshop when applicable

o Report and/or repair damaged workstations when necessary

  • Responsible for submitting certify report within 5 days (not business days) after receiving the Wex credit card statement each month
  • Responsible for completing and submitting signed mileage/cash expense report within 45 days of earliest travel day if applicable
  • Potentially involved in special events such as national and regional trade shows when needed
  • Possess a thorough knowledge of the companys products and their installation methods
  • Possess a thorough knowledge of the company/department policies
Requirements

Required Skills/Abilities

  • Have basic construction and hand tool skills
  • Travel to remote workshops nationwide required
  • Be a team player
  • Have good communication skills include but not limited to responding emails and phone calls within in a timely manner
  • Ability to interact with attendees in a professional manner during the event
  • Be capable of working in both team environment and unsupervised
  • Be capable of taking ownership
  • Adapt on a moment notice and adept at problem solving
  • Possess a valid passport and drivers license
  • Have valid drivers license without moving violations/points accumulated need to be insurable.
  • Be eligible to rent and operate a 26 transport truck
  • Required to pass drug screening
  • Required to legally sign contracts with vehicle rental agencies
  • Represent Schluter Systems L.P. in a professional positive and enthusiastic manner
