To provide strategic planning development and administrative management of multiple Safe Houses including operational efficiency and performance oversight of policy and procedure implementation and ensuring compliance with regulations of programs.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide strategy vision and oversight of Safe Houses.
Oversee the development implementation and revision of policies and procedures protocols requirements supervision standards and training materials on a regular basis.
Oversee and support Safe House Managers with the day-to-day operations providing professional support and acting as liaison between WINGS and the funders.
Manage and support masters level interns by providing guidance assigning tasks and ensuring a meaningful learning experience aligned with program objectives.
Provide support and interventions for crisis management including emergencies and on-call availability.
Oversee and when necessary deliver presentations to staff corporate audiences and civic groups to educate on domestic violence and WINGS Program Inc. including topics such as DV 101 40-hour training sessions and supervision of staff pursuing Certified Domestic Violence Professional credentials.
Build a strategy to further cultivate and network with local civic community and government agencies to educate the community about WINGS services to build collaboration and maintain referrals.
Develop and implement periodic assessments of services to ensure quality of services and positive outcomes.
Work with Development staff to establish indicators and outcomes measures and ensure accurate data collection reporting and ensure timely submission of all reports.
Attend Leadership Team meetings and Board Program Committee meetings directed by the CPO.
Participate in the development of future strategic planning as assigned by the CPO.
Collaborate with program managers to assess client and clinical needs and develop innovative solutions including strategic partnerships to address those needs.
Occasionally travel to Safe Houses throughout Chicagoland to provide support and oversight.
Weekend and evening work may be required.
Licensed Clinician required. Masters degree in social services plus a minimum of 5 years of experience in the field required.
Minimum 3 years of experience providing oversight and supervision of a program and its staff required.
Experience working with the underserved populations in an urban community volunteers homeless families victims of domestic violence or other trauma related populations preferred.
Bilingual (Spanish) skills preferred.
First-Aid and CPR certification preferred.
40-hour domestic violence training and ICDVP credential preferred.
Commitment to diversity equity and inclusion.
Possess the ability to work efficiently and independently and be highly organized with attention to detail along with strong project management interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
Skilled in working with sensitive issues and in maintaining professional boundaries with clients.
Must demonstrate professionalism flexibility good judgment and commitment to teamwork.
Must have a valid drivers license insurance and provide a clean drivers record.
