Technical Quality Assurance AnalystWhat does a successful Technical Quality Assurance Analyst do at Fiserv
A successful Technical Quality Assurance Analyst ensures the reliability of our credit card financial software platform. As a key member of the Credit Card Module (CCM) team you will collaborate across multiple time zones to develop and execute test strategies manage testing processes and uphold lofty standards of quality. This role is crucial for delivering high-quality projects and enhancing client satisfaction.
What you will do:
- Collaborate with the Agile team and participate in Scrum ceremonies across multiple time zones ensuring adherence to Agile best practices.
- Design and develop comprehensive QA test plans test cases and test scripts for both new features and regression testing.
- Review and analyze business requirements to understand system capabilities and maintain traceability to test cases.
- Execute test plans through functional and regression testing document results and manage issues using tools like Jira.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation related to the QA process ensuring clarity for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives and provide feedback to enhance testing methodologies tools and team performance.
What you will need to have:
- 5 years of professional experience in Quality Assurance roles within a software development environment.
- 5 years of experience in developing test plans writing test cases and executing tests to validate software against requirements.
- 3 years of experience with Jira Confluence and Git. 2 years of experience with automated testing frameworks and API testing tools such as Postman and Selenium.
- 5 years of experience in effectively conveying technical information to diverse audiences through excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Bachelors degree in computer science Information Systems Business or a related field or equivalent work experience.
What would be great to have:
- 3 years of experience in the financial services banking or credit card processing industry.
- Relevant professional certifications such as ISTQB CSM or PMI-ACP.
- 2 years of experience in creating visual documentation and training content using diagramming tools.
- Note: This position is in our Kansas City KS site. The candidate must be able to work in the office with the team daily and collaborate with additional team members in other sites as needed.
