It is anticipated that an incumbent in this role will work onsite for three (3) or more days a week and will have a dedicated workspace when working onsite. Work location is subject to change based on business needs.
As the Senior Associate Issue Management you will conduct the investigation and resolution of consumer protection BSA/ AML operational risk and wealth management issues. This role operates within a highly collaborative team environment to drive change through risk measurement analysis remediation and reporting. Additionally this role requires analytical thinking and in-depth knowledge of applicable regulatory requirements and expectations related to issue resolution methodologies breaking down complex information in a systematic and communicable manner. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to exchange potentially complex/ sensitive information.
About This Role:
On any given day youll be:
- Conduct root cause analysis on potential issues and operational risks identified by business unit monitoring control testing complaints and trends identified by governance work.
- Writing issue summaries and corrective action plans that are well written and align with expectations of bank standards.
- Implementing approved action plans including customer remediation control implementation and documentation retention.
- Reviewing and validating resolution files to ensure remediation was carried out appropriately
- Preparing reporting and enhancing trending and analysis for business partners and management
- Provide ongoing/ annual training to business unit on Issues program and escalation.
- Assist in internal and external compliance examinations by gathering supporting documentation.
- Supporting the ongoing evolution of issue management requirements and procedures

Minimum Qualifications:
Required:
- At least 3 years in consumer protection and wealth management compliance BSA/ AML or operational risk management.
- Excellent verbal written and interpersonal communication skills.
- At least 1 year project management experience.
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite (Excel Word Power Point etc.).
- Experience building consensus gaining buy-in and addressing complex issues.
Desired:
- Two or more years experience working with retail mortgage or wealth business units.
- Two or more years experience managing issue resolution at a mid- to large sized financial institution.
- Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM).
- Bachelors degree in business data analytics or related field.
- A year or more experience with SQL.
Compensation:
Compensation range (base pay): $80061.00-$132099.00
This role may have a specific starting pay within this range.
Final compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon work experience education and/or skill level.
