Job Description:
The Tobin School in Natick is seeking a full-time Lead Teacher to lead our Jr. Kindergarten Full Day teaching team. Jr Kindergarten is a class for children who have had a year of PreK and miss the public-school Kindergarten cutoff or who choose to take an extra year. Its a wonderful chance to take advantage of what is an extra year for these children; building on what they already have learned and taking them as far as they can go!
This full-time Teacher will join a team of team of two other full time creative professional early childhood educators. Full time positions are available at 40 hours per week position with 8 hour shifts with a half hour paid break with a varied schedule of 7:45-3:45 or 9:45-5:45 shifts. This educator would help lead this classroom teaching team in providing child supervision curriculum planning assessment parent communication andensuring adherence to all safety and sanitation protocols. The Tobin School offers 4 early childhood classrooms in our climate controlled building with beautiful outside play spaces and an indoor gross motor room.

The Tobin School is an NAEYC accredited program offering school-year school-day and full-day programs for Preschool up to JrK. Summer work is available at our Summer at Tobin Jr. program. The Tobin School provides a variety of experiences and activities designed to encourage children to learn about themselves their friends and their surroundings through small and large group experiences quiet times and active play as well as indoor and outdoor activities. We strive to provide arobust developmentally appropriate curriculum with the opportunity for creativity and teacher input.
Requirements:
Successful applicants must have EEC PreschoolTeachercertification and haveearly childhoodteaching experience. A degree in early childhood or related field is highly valued. Knowledge of a second language is also a plus.

Compensation:
Competitive hourly rate based on education and range: $21.00-$27.00 per hour.
