Job Description
Tutor Doctor is a locally owned and operated tutoring company that has been proudly serving New Jersey families for over 11 years. We provide personalized one-on-one tutoring and academic coaching to studentsin-person in the Ridgewood NJand surrounding areas.
Were seeking compassionate motivatedExecutive Skills Coachesto support students in developing key learning skills such as time management organization planning task initiation and self-monitoring. As an Executive Skills Coach you will act as a mentor and accountability partner helping students build habits that will serve them well throughout school and life. This is more than tutoringits coaching for life success.
Responsibilities
- Coach students one-on-one in areas such as: time management organization prioritization goal setting study routines etc.
- Get certified in our Tutor Doctor X-Skills Program
- Build strong relationships with students and families
- Provide regular progress updates and session report notes
- Commit to and schedule consistent ongoing weekly sessions with students
Qualifications
- Experience in education coaching mentoring counseling or youth development
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Patience empathy and a student-centered mindset
- Organized reliable and consistent
- Ability to motivate and engage students
- Bachelors degree or higher (Education Psychology or related field a plus)
- Familiarity with executive function coaching or academic coaching is a plus
- Located within 15 miles of Ridgewood NJ area
