Job Description:
- Receives and accessions samples and orders accurately in laboratory databases LIS LIMS and other related software.
- Delivers specimens to the designated testing area and records functions in the laboratory information systems.
- Maintains accurate documentation obtaining compiling and issuing records reports and data. Ensures correct distribution for patient care and billing purposes.
- Communicates with providers regarding incomplete paperwork and other missing information.
- Provides efficient and effective customer service ensuring customer satisfaction and quality patient care.
- Maintains knowledge of current federal state and local laws and regulations concerning laboratory reporting and billing requirements including yearly updates.
Education Requirement:
- High School Diploma required.
- Associates Degree in a science or healthcare management preferred.

Experience:
One year of clinical laboratory medical and office experience preferred.
