As a Master Planning Lead youll be at the forefront of developing and implementing site master plans across our network of sites worldwide. This pivotal role involves not only crafting individual site strategies but also enhancing business processes and support models to maximise value for the organisation. Collaborate with site leads regional leadership teams and the Global Supply Chain & Strategy function to align site requirements with global strategies. Youll lead a dynamic team including internal and external resources to deliver impactful master plans. With potential international travel this role offers an exciting opportunity to engage with diverse teams and drive innovation.
Accountabilities
- Manage stakeholders and deliver Master Planning activities across AstraZenecas network sites.
- Develop and implement strategies related to footprint and properties.
- Engage with business stakeholders to establish asset footprint and property strategies.
- Translate long-term business strategy into Site Master Plans.
- Maintain key stake holder relationships for effective delivery and management.
- Collaborate with internal and external partners to support business needs.
- Optimize relationships with cultural insight and awareness.
- Exchange information within Global Engineering & Real Estate (GERE) and Capital Planning & Front-End Study Management.
- Provide intelligence for Real Estate and Asset Strategy processes.
Essential Skills/Experience
- Bachelors Degree
- Knowledge & experience in developing Business strategy/solutions
- Proven ability to engage influence & negotiate at senior levels across the global business
- Strong influencing skills with proven ability to influence & manage senior stake holders.
- High level of interactive communication and well-developed cultural sensitivity to influence the opinions and behaviours of key stake holders and business functions
- Critical thinking and planning capability
- Experience of working in an international and global context
- An understanding of differing cultural environments across functions & geographies
- A broad business perspective
- Leading cross-functional multi-disciplinary teams.
- Experience of working across organisational boundaries
Desirable Skills/Experience
- Experience from working in a Supply Chain and Strategy environment
- Experience of working in a leadership capacity in facilities or asset management
- Experience of establishing footprint and property related strategies and solutions
- Qualification in related subject: Real Estate Engineering Finance Asset Management Facilities Management
- Experience from site asset management roles i.e. FM or site engineering positions
